How does ducted air conditioning work?
An indoor unit connects to an outdoor unit and distributes conditioned air through ducts to ceiling or floor outlets. A return-air path brings air back to the system. Reverse-cycle models provide both heating and cooling.
Can ducted air conditioning be installed in an existing home?
Often, but suitability depends on roof or underfloor space, access, the layout and electrical requirements. Two-storey homes need particular attention to duct routes. A site assessment helps establish the options before you commit.
Does every zone have its own temperature control?
Not necessarily. Basic zoning controls airflow to selected areas. Individual room temperature control depends on compatible sensors, controls and the system design. We can discuss what is possible with your proposed or existing equipment.
How often should a ducted system be serviced?

What affects the installation price?
Capacity, the number and layout of zones, duct routes, access, electrical work and control options all affect the quote. Plans are useful for an initial discussion; the final scope depends on the property assessment and chosen equipment.
Can I replace the unit and keep my existing ducts?
