A room or a living area
A wall-mounted indoor unit connected to an outdoor unit. A useful option when you want to condition a particular space.

THE RIGHT FIT, NOT A GUESS
There is no single best system for every home. Compare the space you want to cover, the installation requirements and the way you want to control it.

A GOOD INSTALL STARTS WITH THE DETAILS
Room size matters, but so do ceiling height, sunlight, glazing, insulation and how the spaces connect. We consider those details before recommending capacity and placement.
EXISTING HOME. RENOVATION. NEW BUILD.
Share photos of the rooms and proposed outdoor location. We discuss access and practical placement before the work is agreed.
Send the updated layout and your project timing. Planning early can help coordinate equipment, duct routes and other building work.
House plans are a useful starting point. Include ceiling details and which rooms you want to condition so the system can be considered alongside the build.
UNDERSTAND THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION
The price depends on more than the air conditioner itself. Equipment, access, pipe lengths, drainage, power supply and any duct or control work all affect the scope.
Check the unit model and capacity, placement, installation work, exclusions, proposed controls and applicable warranty terms. Clarify any electrical or building work that needs to be arranged.
Ask how to use the controller, where the user-accessible filter is, what routine care is needed and which product documents to keep.
GOOD QUESTIONS
It depends on the rooms you want to condition, access, layout and budget. Splits can suit individual spaces; ducted can suit a whole-home design where the building allows it. We can discuss the practical trade-offs for your property.
Plans help us start the discussion, particularly for a new build or renovation. Photos and an assessment may still be needed to confirm access, equipment locations and the final scope.
Room dimensions are only part of the answer. We also consider the building, sunlight, ceiling height, insulation, occupancy and how rooms connect. Avoid choosing a capacity on floor area alone.
It may be possible, depending on the building, access and suitable indoor and outdoor locations. Let us know about any body corporate requirements so those can be considered before the work is agreed.
If you want to replace an existing ducted system, our replacement guide explains what needs checking and what may be reusable. For a separate new room, tell us about both the existing system and your new needs.
Send your suburb, the rooms you want to condition and any plans or useful photos. Our team will discuss the next steps, scope and quote. Installation dates are confirmed directly once the arrangements are agreed.
